There is an interesting thread here on the Music Education Blog Collective blog about the nature of music ensembles with or without ‘technology’. I’ve made a couple of responses to the points made there but others may be interested in contributing too? It seems to me how teachers (and others) define technology will determine, to a large extent, its practical implementation in the teaching and learning context. This was a key factor in our research conducted for the TDA last year. More information about this can be found here.
